is hiring for:

General Accountant

We are looking for hard working, dedicated professional to join our team to perform the General Accountant tasks as directed and ensure that processes and policies are observed, maintained and improved. Communicate with all levels across the business operations to ensure delivery of the target objectives.


Key role responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

  • Entering invoices & staff expense claims into the Business Management database for a portfolio of clients
  • Processing EFT payments and issuing remittances
  • Raising payment runs on a fortnightly basis
  • Liaising with suppliers and staff by phone/email for queries regarding invoices, banking details, refunds, etc
  • Checking monthly statements from suppliers and reconciling them to ledgers
  • Reconciling AP reports for month end reports
  • Credit card upload from bank, reconciliations and reviews
  • Managing shared office expenses between entities for entry and approval
  • Follow up on invoices for approval

Accounts Receivable

  • Receipt and allocate payments in relevant software on a daily basis
  • Resolve client queries where payments may have been allocated incorrectly or client payments have not been received
  • Reconcile client accounts as needed
  • Assist in the preparation of debtor reports
  • Preparation of monthly invoicing including the administration of the time and billing module


  • Assist with reconciliations (bank, subconsultant and reimbursable) and preparing ad hoc month end reports
  • Work collaboratively with other key personnel to achieve business goals
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and encourages individuals to identify opportunities and solutions to improve service delivery
  • Establish and maintain effective network links and relationship
  • Think outside of the box to deliver best practice strategies and efficiencies for clients
  • Attend to any other ad hoc duties as required

Key Selection criteria

  • Degree qualified in accounting
  • 1+ years’ experience in AP and AR
  • Quick learner
  • Multi Systems expert
  • High attention to detail
  • High level communicator
  • Team player
