POSITION SUMMARY:
Under general supervision, responsible for performing routine assignments related to the accounting functions of the organization within established deadlines. May be assigned to special financial projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business or finance preferred.
- Certified Accountant license.
- High degree of technical competency, judgment and discretion required. Oracle eBS experience is a plus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounting postings in GL and Subledgers of all financial documents and transactions.
- Preparation and entry of VAT and Personal Income tax forms.
- Control/Posting of transactions related to production, material and finished goods transactions.
- Posting of transactions related to fixed assets and depreciation.
- Involved in preparation/submission of other reports as required by the National Bank, Statistical Office, Tax Office and DTIDZ.
- Tasks related to maintenance of master data in ERP system.
- Involved in performing and supervision of physical counts.
- Correspondence with the state institutions and independent auditors, as required.
- Performs various analyses and reconciliations as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as assigned.
- Provides back-up for other related functions as requested.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
