For our Mechatronics division in Shtip, we are looking for the following position:
PROCESS ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Support / Implement continuous improvement projects to address quality, material flow, through-put and productivity improvements
- Establish and drive improvements in OEE (overall equipment effectiveness)
- Provide engineered operational analysis to support the production
- Evaluate and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate continuous improvement projects
- Support launch team and launch activities
- Determine line side WIP/Finished Goods layout requirement and utilization
- Perform ergonomic studies, develop tools that will reduce ergonomic risk for the operators
- Develop layouts for molding and assembly process which will improve efficiency, reduce floor space and health and safety
- Create standardized work instructions
- Assist technical team in procuring and sourcing required critical spares for equipment, critical spared to be stocked
- Develop work instructions / process flows for new programs
- Document process through process flow, flowcharts, PFMEA’s, etc
- Assist in the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) process
- Attend meetings as required and communicate or provide data as necessary
- Lead efforts to incorporate new concepts into existing systems with particular emphasis on process repeatability, consistency, quality controls & automation and cost reduction
- Actively search for ideas and ways to reduce expenses and improve quality without compromising superior customer service
- Ensure projects are completed on time
- Ensure financial budgets are followed
- Perform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplace
- Comply with the requirements of C-TPAT/PIP
- Report all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behavior
- Adhere to applicable quality systems and IATF 16949 standards
- Maintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standards
- Perform other duties as required
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in molding/assembly
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing engineering, including Continuous Improvement programs and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
- Experience with automation controls, mechanical and process engineering preferred
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Thinks conceptually and intuitively from a lean perspective
- Excellent computer skills in word & spreadsheet programs
- Demonstrated ability to effectively solve problems
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Well-developed organizational and time management skills
