To support our Plant in Skopje, we are looking for an APQP Engineer that embodies our values.
The APQP Engineer's primary responsibility is to execute new product launches, in collaboration with manufacturing engineering, and ensuring process and design changes are implemented successfully. The engineer will work closely with the Project Management team to track and launch new projects and coordinate with customers and suppliers for SREA and SCR (Supplier Change Request) actions.
Responsibilities:
- Complete tasks / projects to the requirements specified by the Engineering and Project Management teams and in the project management software
- Ensure successful supplier and engineering changes to current production components and processes.
- Coordinate with customer project teams for change documentation and implementation.
- Assist in APQP activities to ensure on-time delivery of PPAPs and adherence to schedule.
- Developing technical specifications for new equipment and tooling.
- Coordinate with Equipment Suppliers to verify equipment functionality, performance to specification, delivery, setup and debug at Manufacturing Facility.
- Work with Dayton engineering group to launch new product lines and monitor pre-production requirements.
- Coordinate Prototype Product Builds (with Project Management) and documentation at Manufacturing Plant
- Organize and compile BOM data for final assemblies and sub-assemblies
Requirements:
- Fluent English language skills (written and oral).
- Strong organizational skill including multi-tasking.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with engineering peers and management personnel globally.
- Effective Root Cause Analysis and Problem-solving abilities.
- Strives to continuously develop and improve own skills and knowledge.
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Self-Starter & Team Planer with a willingness to take on new and challenging tasks.
- University Diploma
- At least 2 years work experience in a similar position.
- Experience in the automotive industry preferred.
