Java Developer for Software Development Team (Remote)
Job Description: We are looking for a Java Developer to join our software development team focused on the aviation industry. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications that enhance our aviation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners and stakeholders, to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs. As part of a Scrum team, you will participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes. Your expertise in Java EE, Spring, and web application development will be crucial in delivering high-quality software that meets the unique demands of the aviation sector.
University degree in computer sciences or related fields
Fluency in written and spoken English
Minimum 4 years of development experience with Java
Advanced Java EE and web application development experience
Experience with Spring & JPA (Hibernate)
Experience with Spring Boot & JAX-RS & JAX-WS
Experience with Spring Cloud
Experience with Git flow, Maven, Jenkins
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
Experience with Kafka, Redis, NoSql databases
Knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts and technologies, UML
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum)
Familiarity with Atlassian Tools Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo)
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
