Operations & Client Services Executive (Remote, English-speaking)

Payfor Ltd is a London-based commercial debt recovery firm. We recover unpaid B2B invoices for companies across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia. We are paid only when our clients are paid, so everything we do is aimed at producing results rather than noise. THE ROLE You will run the day-to-day operations behind our recovery work, from the moment a client instructs us through to the moment their money is recovered. - Onboarding new clients and new claims, and keeping our files and records in order - Managing recovery campaigns: structured written correspondence with debtor companies, backed by telephone contact - Calling debtors to press for payment and to arrange calls with our senior team - Coordinating with external law firms where matters escalate - Setting up and managing agreed payment plans, and chasing every missed instalment - Keeping our project management system current and driving tasks to completion - Supporting our outbound marketing and lead generation activity Full training on the recovery process is provided. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Essential: - Excellent spoken and written English. You will be telephoning finance directors and business owners in the UK, Europe and the US, often when they would rather not hear from you, and writing correspondence that goes out under our name. - Composure and persistence. Debtors stall, deflect and go quiet. The job is to keep the pressure calm, professional and unrelenting. - Strong organisation. You will run twenty or more live matters at once, each with its own deadlines and its own client waiting for an update. - Sound commercial judgment and absolute discretion. You will handle confidential client information every day. - Confident with cloud tools and with AI tools as part of daily work. Advantageous: - Experience with cold email platforms such as Instantly, Lemlist or Smartlead - Understanding of email deliverability: domain warm-up, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, inbox placement - Any background in collections, credit control, legal support, or B2B sales development No legal qualification is required.
