SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER

As a Sales and Marketing Manager in the pharmaceutical industry, you will lead the development and execution of sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth, increase market share, and strengthen brand presence. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, leadership, and a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market.

Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key clients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations and address client concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and generate regular reports for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to develop accurate sales forecasts.
  • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to healthcare professionals, hospitals, pharmacies and other potential clients.
  • Communicate the value proposition of pharmaceutical products effectively.
  • Plan and coordinate participation in industry conferences, trade shows, and other events.
  • Represent the company and engage with potential clients during these events.
  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to promote pharmaceutical products.
  • Oversee product positioning, messaging, and branding initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing channels.
  • Monitor and enhance brand equity through effective marketing campaigns.
  • Direct digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and online advertising.
  • Analyze digital marketing metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with relevant regulatory guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Medicine or advanced degree in Heath Management, Pharmacoinformatic, Pharmacoeconomics or related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the sales and marketing of pharmaceutical products with a proven ability to negotiate and conclude contracts.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and industry regulations.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
