In accordance with the rapid growth of the company as well as the current needs, processes and activities, we are announcing a job vacancy:

Sales Assistant
Location: Cevahir

Administrative Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To perform sales transactions fully in compliance with the written instructions within the scope of the company policy, to notify the relevant managers concerning rule violations.
  • To keep all legal documents as up to date and in full.
  • If he/she has a responsibility to open and close the store, to fulfill this responsibility on time and in full.
  • To check whether the tools and materials that are required in order for the store and him/her to work efficiently are available or not. In case there are any circumstances that may prevent the work processes such as shortages, failures etc. in the work tools and materials, to notify the relevant individuals for the elimination of such problems. When necessary, to fill in the relevant reports and statements.
  • To check the practices concerning the arrangement of price tags and other documents.
  • To notify the relevant executive concerning deficiencies in the services offered to the customers and the measures to be taken regarding these deficiencies and fulfill the instructions of the relevant executive regarding the matter.
  • To complete the buddy (Orientation Friend) practice for newly recruited employees at the DeFacto stores and in case he/she is assigned for buddy (Orientation Friend) duty, to fulfill all requirements of this duty.
  • To comply with all instructions, procedures and regulations that have been notified by the headquarters and/or the store manager in writing and verbally.
  • To work within the scope of the Daily Plans that have been generated and to follow up on the store daily plans from the notice board on a daily basis.
  • To fulfill the orders and the instructions of the Store manager and the relevant executive in full and on time.
  • To notify the Store manager and the relevant executive regarding the violation of the financial and operational discipline rules related with the store.
  • To comply with the shift time and order rules. To comply with the work and industry discipline norms, occupational health and safety rules and norms, legal requirements and fire safety rules applied at the store. To notify the relevant executive in case of determining any circumstances on the contrary.
  • To attend the periodically organized personnel meetings and trainings on time.
  • To be personally present at the store throughout his/her planned shift. Not to depart from the boundaries of the store without notifying the executive that he/she is directly affiliated with.
  • To work in outfits defined in the DeFacto procedures. To keep his/her outfits clean and ironed, in compliance with the standards and norms acknowledged by the society.
  • To act in line with the rules that are acknowledged aesthetically and ethically.
  • To fully implement the instructions of his/her executive during the in-store rotation processes and complete the trainings for the position to which his/her rotation has been made, in case of any deficiencies to notify the relevant executive and monitor the completion of such deficiencies.
  • To read the procedures and standards regarding his/her work area carefully and to implement these procedures and standards in full during his/her daily works. In line with any procedure and standard update notification from his/her executive, to read the relevant documents and update his/her knowledge on the matter.
  • To ensure the safety of the machinery and equipment, and confidentiality of the information and documents within his/her area of responsibility.

 Duties and Responsibilities regarding Customer Relations:

  • To greet the customer cordially in a manner to increase satisfaction, to offer the appropriate product as aimed for the customer’s need, to combine products when necessary and accompany the customer to the cash register at the end of the operation.
  • To exert the necessary and adequate efforts as aimed to meet the needs of the store visitors at the maximum possible level. Especially, search for the necessary product and/or size at the warehouse upon the demand of the customer.
  • To inform the customers regarding payment, return and replacement operations.
  • To observe customers whether they need help or not. To be easily reachable without disturbing the customers.
  • To participate in the survey practices applied for the customers to the extent that he/she is requested. To encourage and check that the customers fill in the survey. To notify the information in the surveys filled in by the customers to the relevant units and/or individuals in the required time and format
